Installation
How do I install Klaro?
- In your WordPress admin, go to Appearance → Themes and click Add New.
- Click Upload Theme, choose the Klaro ZIP file, and click Install Now.
- Click Activate.
What are the requirements?
WordPress 6.0 or higher and PHP 7.4 or higher. No other plugins are required — Klaro works standalone.Accessibility Features

Where is the accessibility toolbar?
The toolbar appears in the site header. Visitors can use it to switch text size, toggle high-contrast or monochrome mode, and skip to content — without leaving the page.Why is the base font size 18px?
18px ensures readability for users with visual impairments. Visitors who want smaller or larger text can change it via the accessibility toolbar — no admin action required.Customization
Where do I configure colors and the logo?
Go to Appearance → Customize. From there you can set the logo, header image or video, background, and theme colors. Klaro uses standard WordPress Customizer panels — no proprietary settings page.Can I use custom fonts?
Yes, but Klaro recommends system fonts for performance and accessibility. If you do load custom fonts, make sure they meet the same WCAG AAA contrast ratios — the theme’s design assumes 7:1 contrast minimums.Where is the accessibility-statement link configured?

Does Klaro work with WooCommerce?
Yes — Klaro includes full WooCommerce accessibility support: WCAG-AAA shop pages, accessible cart and checkout, screen-reader announcements for cart updates, keyboard-navigable product galleries, and 44px minimum touch targets on every interactive element. Does it work with Gutenberg?
Yes — Klaro is fully block-based with editor-style support, registered block styles, and an accessible call-to-action block pattern.Does it work with Elementor / Divi / Beaver Builder?
Klaro is built primarily for the block editor. Visual drag-and-drop builders may override Klaro’s accessibility styling (focus indicators, contrast, line lengths). If you must use one, audit the rendered pages with axe DevTools or Lighthouse to make sure accessibility hasn’t regressed.Translations
Is Klaro translation-ready?
