How it works
Every plan is built from two parts:
- A monthly hours bucket for hands-on work — updates, security response, content edits, performance tuning, troubleshooting, multilingual sync, WooCommerce support.
- Always-on automated infrastructure that runs every tier, no clock — uptime monitoring, daily backups, security scans, cache configuration, SSL renewal monitoring, MainWP control.
Pick the tier that matches your site’s complexity and the volume of hands-on work you typically need. Unused hours don’t roll over — keep things simple and predictable on both sides.

All tiers bill at an effective €75 / hour. Overage hours: €90 / hour, agreed in advance.
What the hours bucket covers
- Core, theme & plugin updates — reviewed manually, not blind auto-update.
- Performance speed checks & tuning — Lighthouse, GTmetrix, image optimization, cache rules, slow-query investigation, DB cleanup.
- Security incident response — malware cleanup, hardening, account audit.
- Content edits — text, images, new pages, menu changes.
- WooCommerce support — order issues, product updates, tax/shipping, payment gateways.
- Multilingual upkeep — WC Multilang translation sync when content changes.
- Troubleshooting & debugging — error log investigation, conflict resolution.
- Monthly report writing — manual narrative summarising what changed and what’s next.
What runs every month, on every tier
These services run automatically and don’t consume your hours bucket:
- Uptime monitoring — 5-minute checks, alert on state change via Postmark.
- Offsite automated backups — daily database, weekly files, 14-day retention.
- MainWP Child connection — your site reports into our central dashboard at
admin.prowoos.com. - Wordfence with ProWoos baseline ruleset, automatic scans.
- Cloudflare cache + WP page-cache configured at onboarding and kept tuned.
- SSL certificate renewal monitoring.
Hours policy
- Use them or lose them. Hours don’t roll over to next month. Predictable for everyone.
- Overage rate: €90 / hour — agreed in writing before the work starts.
- Tier upgrade any time, pro-rated. Downgrade with 30 days’ notice.
- Audit hours don’t count — the pre-onboarding audit is free.
What’s excluded
To keep pricing honest, the maintenance plans don’t cover:
- Custom development or new feature builds (separate project quote).
- Site redesigns or theme rebuilds.
- Original content writing or translation work.
- Web hosting (we’ll add this when we partner with a host we trust).
- Recovery from incidents that occurred before your onboarding date — these can be addressed via an optional one-time site cleanup quote.
How we onboard your site
- You request a quote — pick a tier or fill the custom-plan form.
- Free 30-minute audit — we run a health check on your site (core, plugins, performance, security, backups). You receive the report regardless of whether you sign up.
- Quote within 2 business days — including any optional one-time cleanup line items if the audit revealed pre-existing issues.
- Acceptance & payment — invoice or recurring subscription via Stripe.
- Week 1 onboarding — MainWP Child installed and connected, Wordfence configured, baseline backup taken, monitoring added, welcome email with your monthly schedule and contact channel.

FAQ
What if I don’t use all my hours one month?
Hours don’t roll over to the next month. Use them or lose them. This keeps planning simple for both sides — we always know what your monthly capacity is, and you always know what you’re getting.
What happens if I need more hours one month?
Overage hours bill at €90 per hour. Before doing any work that exceeds your monthly bucket, we’ll email you with the time estimate and wait for your approval. No surprise bills.
Can I change tier later?
Yes. Upgrade any time, pro-rated for the current month. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle, with 30 days’ notice.
Do you take on sites built by other agencies?
Yes — that’s actually most of the sites we maintain. The free audit is exactly so we can see what we’d be inheriting. If we find pre-existing issues, you’ll get a one-time cleanup quote alongside the recurring plan. We won’t take on a site without auditing it first.
Do you handle web hosting?
Not yet. We’re working on a hosting partnership and will add it as a separate offering once we find the right partner. For now, you keep your existing host and we maintain the site on top.
What about emergencies outside business hours?
Essential tier doesn’t include out-of-hours support. Professional includes out-of-hours emergency response at €150/h. Enterprise includes one out-of-hours emergency per month, then €150/h after.
What languages do you work in?
English, German, and Spanish. Reports and communication can be in any of the three.
What’s your refund policy?
If we haven’t started any work in a billing month and you cancel before the 5th of the month, we’ll refund that month in full. After work has started, the month is non-refundable. No long-term lock-in — you can cancel any month with 30 days’ notice.
